History

The VOX Buckingham was part of the company's American solid-state amplifier lineup during the mid-to-late 1960s. Its distinctive trapezoidal amplifier head, large speaker cabinet, and chrome trolley stand reflected the iconic VOX styling of the British Invasion era.

This matching two-piece vintage protective cover set was designed for the Buckingham amplifier head and speaker cabinet.

Research using the original specifications documented by Vox Showroom indicates that the dimensions correspond to the Buckingham amplifier system.

The smaller head cover may also accommodate certain VOX Super Beatle and other trapezoidal amplifier heads. Buyers should verify measurements before purchasing.

Condition

Both covers are well preserved, displaying normal age-related creasing, wrinkles, light scuffs, and surface wear consistent with vintage vinyl accessories. No holes, rips, tears.

The glossy black vinyl retains an attractive appearance, with clearly visible white VOX logos and contrasting white piping.

The larger cabinet cover features openings on both sides to accommodate the chrome trolley stand. The lower fasteners on both sides are present, fully functional, and show no noticeable wear or damage.

The head cover retains its reinforced handle opening.
