The Radio King Limited Edition Snare is built using a steam-bent solid shell that’s shaped from a hand-selected North American Maple plank. True to the original design, each shell is cut with a 30-degree rounded bearing edge, providing greater contact between the head and the shell for a thick and buttery feel. This results in deep tonal warmth, full and punchy projection, and thick resonance with a dynamic frequency range. This Radio King Limited Snare is fitted with period-correct, nickel-plated hardware that gives your new snare a striking onstage appeal while providing throwback vintage vibes. One signature element of the Radio King profile is the 3-Point Strainer with Adjustable Snare Gates. This strainer gives you precise control over the engagement of extended snappy snare wires from airy and wide open to responsive and sharp.
