Extremely Rare Pre-War Model 59 Lap Steel with Original Horseshoe Pickup, plays and sounds great! Shows normal wear for a pre-war instrument, some dings and scratches, but all original. These early Model 59 steels rarely appear with their original horseshoe pickup intact and functioning. The sought-after wood-body 59 is lighter weight and more resonant acoustically than the more common Model B. A great piece for collectors, studio players, and lovers of classic slide tone. Includes Vintage Lap Steel Hardcase with Black Gator Skin Tolex and Purple Interior. Case is functional but showing its age.
