Fender's Reissue of the iconic Tweed '57 Twin-Amp! Made in the USA with hand-wired circuitry and dual 12" Eminence speakers in a finger-joined Solid Pine cabinet, looks as good as it sounds! Tested in-store and works great with no issues. Very clean for the age; some slight wear and spot fading in the covering but no tears or repairs. Amp face, knobs, grille cloth all in great condition, guts are spotless! Includes original vintage brown fitted cover; some wear on cover but still in great shape.

DESCRIPTION

The '57 Twin-Amp™ is one of the most collectible amps of all time, with harmonically rich clean tones that are great for vintage rock, blues and country. Or it can be cranked up for full, sophisticated distortion. This all-tube combo amp has hand-wired circuitry; even reproducing the 1955-'57 edition "low powered" 5E8A circuit, which puts 40 watts into a pair of 12" alnico-magnet speakers. Power comes from dual GT6L6 output tubes and Fender's seldom-seen mid-'50s dual rectifier arrangement (using 5U4 rectifier tubes). With this design, power amp compression ("sag") is more subtle than in many Fender® tweed designs. Also features genuine lacquered tweed covering, vintage-style brown/gold grille cloth, top leather strap handle and fitted cover.
