The Harmonic Minor has been in use for a long time, as the traditional tuning for playing a wide array of international music.The Harmonic Minor tuning has a very soulful, Eastern European sound and was used for one entire side of Lee Oskar’s highly acclaimed first solo album. This harmonica is intended to play traditional ethnic music that is important to the heritage of many cultures, such as: Minor Eastern European, Gypsy, Yiddish, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Asian and European/American Folk music, as well as various selections of Jazz and Classic Show Tunes.

• Precision-molded comb provides a recessed bed and holds Reed Plates securely and prevents air leakage. 1st and 2nd Positions clearly identified at ends of the comb.
• Replaceable Reed Plates in all Keys: Top quality brass. Mounted to the comb with only 3 self-tapping screws. Tuned to +441 for a fuller, brighter sound. With these replaceable reed plates, it is easy to create a new harmonica at about half the cost! Original comb and cover plates are recycled into the rebuilt harp. This simple process involves only three screws, two nuts & bolts. Now that makes a lot of sense!
