Description:

The Córdoba® Stage platform was created to bring nylon-string guitars confidently onto any stage, combining modern design with uncompromising plugged-in tone. Built for amplified performance, its revolutionary pickup system delivers exceptional clarity and feedback resistance, allowing nylon-string tone to cut through the mix without sacrificing feel or musicality. Player-focused ergonomics and familiar neck options make the transition effortless for traditional nylon players and those coming from steel-string or electric guitars. The result is a modern nylon-string platform that finally makes nylon tone feel at home on any stage.

The Stage Edge Burst solidbody nylon-string electric guitar features striking Exotic Top design, a Fusion neck for a playing experience closer to that of a steel-string guitar, and a Stage Pickup System co-developed with Fishman®.

• Córdoba Stage chambered solid mahogany body
• Solid spruce top with flamed maple veneer and Edge Burst finish
• Stage Pickup System co-developed with Fishman
• Volume, EQ, and Body Blend controls with walnut knobs
• Painted pau ferro headplate with mother-of-pearl Arches logo

STAGE PICKUP SYSTEM

All Stage and Stage Artist guitars feature our proprietary Stage Pickup System developed in partnership with Fishman®, which pairs an under-saddle transducer with internal body sensors. That combination produces a warm, clear, authentic nylon-string tone with exceptional balance and also eliminates the "quack" typically associated with piezo pickups. A professional-quality preamp with easily accessible Volume, EQ, and Body Blend controls provides even more precise tone shaping, which can come in handy when adjusting to differing venues.

STAGE BODY & FUSION NECK

The Stage Black Burst guitar features the Córdoba Stage body, which was specifically designed with live performers in mind. Its 38mm (1 1/2") deep body is constructed of solid mahogany, strategically chambered to reduce weight and increase resonance, and capped with a solid spruce top. A soft body cutaway provides increased comfort and easy access to higher frets. The Stage Black Burst guitar’s unique Fusion neck is slightly thinner and narrower than conventional nylon-string guitar necks, offering a playing experience closer to that of a steel-string guitar.

SOLID SPRUCE TOP WITH EXOTIC TOP VENEER

The Stage Black Burst showcases Córdoba’s Exotic Top design: an ultra-thin premium flamed maple veneer applied to a solid spruce top, providing the ideal balance of tone and beauty—and in this case with an eye-catching Black Burst top finish. The guitar’s solid mahogany body combined with a solid spruce top produces a clear and focused yet warm tone, including rich lows enhanced by fanned top bracing. The combination also results in exceptional responsiveness to playing dynamics across a broad range.
